"RUMMY"
Rummy, a popular card game is part of a large group of ‘Draw and Discard’ games played with sets of playing cards. The main Objective in any Rummy games is to improve one’s “HAND” by forming sets of cards and melding them in certain rules. The basic move is to draw a card from the un-dealt deck or from the face up discard pile and discard a card.
"Rummy is a game of skill as opposed to games of chance. It is absolutely legal to play rummy as it involves skill to win"

The Classical INDIAN RUMMY
An Indian variant of Rummy (Popularly known as “13 card Rummy” or “Sequence”) is mostly played between 2 to 6 players. Each player takes turn to draw and discard one card till the 13 cards are formed into sets. Certain rules apply while the “SETS” are validated.

Rules of Indian Rummy:
Indian Rummy is played with two decks of cards with two Jokers. Cards in each suit rank, from low to high:
Ace 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Jack Queen King
Ace can be used as 1 or a face card when making the sets
The cards have values as follows:
Face cards (K, Q, J) -  10 points
Ace -   10 points

DRAW AND DISCARD
On each turn, a player Draws either the (face-up) top card of the discard pile, or one card from the stock, and Discards one card from his or her hand onto the discard pile, or shows the hand by closing one card and melding all the other thirteen cards into sets as per the game rules.

DROP
A Player may wish to drop the game when the turn comes. However a game can only be dropped before drawing a card.

JOKER
One card from the remaining deck is selected by random and becomes the joker for the particular game. All cards of the same rank and any suit as the card selected are considered jokers. Apart from this there will be two other joker cards which have the joker symbol. A joker card can be used as any card in the sets. However there has to be one sequence without a joker to validate the sets as per game rules.

SHOW
If thirteen cards of the Hand can be meld into sets the player can SHOW. In order to show the player should have 14 cards and selects one card that has to be closed before showing. Once a Show is placed the player needs to put the 13 cards into sets and send cards for Validation. The show is declared as correct if the sets meet the validation rules specified below.

VALIDATION RULES
For a show to be correct the cards have to be meld in the sets panel shown. Each set needs to comply with certain rules.
LIFE1: Life1 has to be sequence of minimum 3 cards of the same suite. Life1 should not have a joker. However a joker card may be used as the card itself and not as a joker.
LIFE 2: Life2 has to be a sequence of minimum 3 cards of the same suite. Life 2 may or may not have a joker.
SET1: Set1 may be a sequence or a triplet or four cards of same value and different suites. Set1 may or may not have a joker.
SET2: Set2 may be a sequence or a triplet or four cards of same value and different suites. Set2 may or may not have a joker.
